“How Women Rejected Me Due to My Ugly Looks” – Nollywood Actor Uwaezuoke Opens Up

Stephen Alajemba, a seasoned Nigerian actor better known by his stage name Uwaezuoke, has opened up about the numerous rejections he faced from women due to his physical and facial characteristics.

The actor disclosed that his mother had warned him as a baby that his ugly looks would make him a target for rejection.

Speaking about his personal experiences, Stephen Alajemba stated that he has experienced rejection because of his appearance all of his adult life, most notably in romantic relationships.

Stephen Alajemba stated in the interview that he made a commitment to his mother to make her proud, as she had expressed dissatisfaction with him when he was a child and believed he had not given her anything constructive.

The committed performer triumphed against all the challenges.

The actor, who is currently in his 50s, disclosed that at the age of 23, he finally discovered love and wed his first love.

He acknowledged that his early experiences with rejection had not stopped him from finding joy in his personal life, and he expressed gratitude that the first person to welcome him stayed with him.

“Any lady who sees my facial look and stature runs away. Unfortunately before one accepted me I was already 20 to 22 years old. I married at 23. So the first person tasted it and confirmed it and she did not leave me anymore,” Stephen Alajemba said.
