Nigerian Gay Rights Activist, Dan Yomi, Overjoyed As His Mum Accepts Him As A Gay Man


Dan Yomi, a Nigerian LGBTQ activist based in the UK, has expressed joy after his mother recently called him to say she has accepted him for who he is, a gay man. Yomi mentioned that his relationship with his mum has been strained for five years following his coming out as a gay man. He appealed to parents of queer kids to do better by accepting them the way they are. Yomi who was once a youth pastor came out as a gay man in October 2018.
